Bible Studies and Adult Education

Open Forum

Sunday mornings from 10:40 - 11:30 a.m. in the lounge (September-May) and Wednesday evenings when Faith Formation is in session from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. An opportunity for learning is presented. Topics have a wide variety of themes from Biblical, social to historical. A variety of formats are used from lecture, videos and guest presenters. One of our most important goals is to always include time for discussion and conversation.

Men's Renewal Group

Meets every other Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for breakfast currently at Gallagher's, 888 Ohio Street, West St. Paul.  This group focuses conversation and Bible discussions.  Check the church calendar for more details.  All men are welcome - parishioners or non-parishioners.

Women of the ELCA

WELCA is the women's ministry organization of the ELCA. Women gather for bible study at church or at member's homes once a month. Service projects are incorporated as well. The circles and meeting times are:

Rachel's Circle: Meets 9am in the lounge on the second Tuesday of the month.
Mary's Circle: Meets once a month offsite - schedule varies.  Call church office for current information.

Men of St. Stephen's

Men of St. Stephen's (M.O.S.S) is our largest men’s ministry. The MOSS ministry provides scholarships to youth for camps and mission trips, the Scouts and the Noreen Center for equipment.

Via de Cristo

Via de Cristo is a Spanish phrase meaning "Way of Christ." Via de Cristo is a highly structured three-day weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people and bring them to a new awareness of living in God's grace. It is combined effort of lay people and clergy toward renewal of the church. We have an active group of participants in this remarkable retreat movement. Currently on hold during COVID.
