Sunday School

Children from age 3 through 8th grade have classes each Sunday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. You can register any Sunday. There is no charge for Sunday School. Classes meet from early September through late May.

Preschoolers are welcome in "Godly Play." In a calm and reassuring atmosphere, they hear Bible Stories and wonder about what they mean. They share a "feast" (snack) and have some conversations with their teacher. Then crafts round out the class period.

K through 5th graders discover Bible stories through Workshop Rotation Sunday School. Children visit drama, art, cooking, science, video and/or games workshops, learning about one bible story in different ways during a 5-week rotation. This fall we will be exploring rotations about Jesus' parables and believers around the world.

6th through 8th graders are invited to SMAC (Sunday Mornings at Church) - a relaxed, informal time for devotions, conversation, mentoring and hanging out in the youth room. (along with smoothies and other eats.)

Confirmation

High schoolers take leadership in SMAC and children's Sunday School on Sundays and join for learning and fellowship on Wednesdays.

Confirmation is an intensive study of the Christian Faith and its Lutheran expression offered during middle school years. In a three year course of study, youth learn about Jesus Christ, the Bible, discipleship, and spiritual practices. Classes meet the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 5th Wednesdays and of each month, September through April. Large group presentations, small group discussions, service projects, field trips and fellowship events work together to help youth learn to live a Christian life.

Confirmands also choose a mentor for bi-monthly discussions (October, December, February and April) on discipleship issues.

6th-8th Grade

A monthly time for youth to hang out, play in the gym, and meet new people.
S.M.A.C. - Sunday Mornings At Church meet's each week in the youth room from 9:30-10:30. Bible study, devotions, music videos, game room fun and MORE.

Hangtime

Camp Wapo - Each summer youth have the opportunity to attend Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp in Amery WI (www.campwapo.org) for a week of camp fires, games, swimming, worship and so much more.

9th-12th Grade

We meet each Wednesday during the school year (along with the confirmation calendar) for fellowship.

Senior High Youth Group

(www.campwapo.org) where we participate is workshops, bible studies, games, campfires, swimming, hikes and more.

Lutheran Bible Camp

SLT's are a week long adventure in service. Youth raise funds for the trip throughout the year in preparation to be of service to another community. Skills and experiences are brought back home and shared with our community.
